The CA-MX detects the presence of any motion in the monitored area and sends a wireless signal to trigger the CentralAlert CA360Q notification system and the CentralAlert CA-RX remote receiver or the CA360Q Loud and Flashing Receivers to be alerted in other rooms or the CentralAlert CA-PX personal vibrating audio pager to alert you while you are moving around the house.
